A B2B AD THAT DID BETTER THAN A B2C CAMPAIGN

A B2B AD THAT DID BETTER THAN A B2C CAMPAIGN

THE DEATH OF THE CORPORATE VIDEO YAWN

## WHY ENTERPRISE BUYERS CLICK AWAY IN SECONDS

Every year, the same debate resurfaces: B2C gets the big-budget stadium spots, B2B gets the leftover afternoon slot and a stock-photo handshake. So when one of our client's enterprise infrastructure launch films started outperforming a national sportswear campaign on watch-through rate, people wanted to know what happened.

"WE'D RATHER ASK SLIGHTLY ANNOYING QUESTIONS AND CREATE SOMETHING ICONIC THAN SETTLE FOR SAFE, FORGETTABLE VIDEOS THAT PROSPECTS CLICK AWAY FROM IN FOUR SECONDS."

HOW AGENTIC WORKFLOWS CHANGE THE BRIEF

The short answer: we stopped trying to make B2B feel like B2C, and instead made it feel like something worth a decision-maker's actual attention span, which is shorter and more skeptical than any consumer's.

The brief asked for "enterprise-grade trust," which usually means a beige video full of jargon. We asked instead: what does the buyer's Monday morning actually look like without this product? We built the entire film around that one scene, and moved the feature list to a follow-up one-pager where it belonged.

The sports campaign it "beat" wasn't a bad ad. It just wasn't fighting the same fight. Our audience was 40,000 procurement leads who'd already sat through six vendor demos that week. Beating boredom, not beating a rival brand, was the actual metric, and it's the one nobody puts in the case study deck.
